About Our Organization
ASF is a multi-state Airsoft organization, designed and developed by a small group of friends in southern California in the year of our lord two thousand and two. Over the next few years the team grew into what we know of today as the ASF Airsoft Organization. With over 80 members divided into 6 states, ASF has become a well known name in the smaller Airsoft communities.
All members within the organization play the sport of Airsoft first and foremost for the fun of the game, everything our members do is committed voluntarily. However all members understand that they are dedicated and committed to the organization and the sport that it plays. The things that we value most is our friendliness not only to the public but also to the "family like" unity that our members contain. ASF strives for excellence and a professional outlook and relies on the dedication, commitment and honor of its members.
The ASF organization (ASF) is a non profit educational sport based Society. We exist for the sole purpose of remembering and paying tribute to the combat soldiers of today, while having fun. Our Organizations events consist of battle re-enactments and public displays including conventions, in an effort to better educate the general public as well as ourselves on the daily rigors of a common soldier, and the sport of Airsoft, despite nationality. As of December 2007, 40% of ASF membership will be active Military personnel. Membership within the ASF organization is open to anyone with a strong interest in combat and modern day soldiery, and is willing to be in a ranked environment . And is not restricted on the basis of race, sex, religious preference or handicap

Living The ASF Motto's
Since its inception in the year two thousand and two, living up to the ASF motto's have been one of the first priorities of the organization. Unlike many other Military Simulation teams in the Airsoft community, the organization does not portray any certain military unit or branch, it is in fact, of its own creation, and this is apparent with the Motto.
"Einheit Gibt Stärke Mit
Gott" are the words etched in unit manuals and
handbooks, to some the phrase isn't much, and most
don't even care what it means, but to ASF members it
is the traditional motto, spoken in German, meaning "Unity Gives Strength With
God", portraying to the family oriented unity that
ASF members portray and the strength that the family can
have when working as a united team, especially in combat,
of course accompanied by the one who allows the
strength to be there, and the unity to be possible, God.
In addition to the ASF motto, the 2nd Battalion of
ASF (Utah) adopted by majority vote in December of
2007, "Deo Vindice" which is Latin for "Under God,
Our Vindicator" which just awkwardly happens to have
been the Confederate States of America Motto in the
1860's during the civil war. In addition it is the
first motto to be assigned to a sub division of the
ASF organization.
Our Community Mission
Community is one of the most important parts of life, and the organization recognizes that to be true. Whether your an Airsoft organization or a doctors office, you are still apart of that community. Over the past three years ASF has made it a goal to give back to the community in whatever way it can. This includes volunteer work, community service, fundraisers, and in some instances when emergencies strike, such as the California wildfires in the year two thousand and seven, a few ASF members broke through and were able to help even in the smallest of ways.
Giving back to the community we live in is a number one lesson taught at every corner, even small things from picking up a piece of trash to security at an event, helping out is asf's job, and all the members are ready and willing.
The whole community mission of the organization is to make a better name not only for itself but for the sport of Airsoft within its communities, letting others know that ASF is more then just an Airsoft team, its a family. One that takes pride in the extra things it does.
As of this moment ASF is the only Airsoft organization to have made use of a community service system for members to receive points and recognition, giving added benefits to those who participate so that more motivation will be given to join in on the community event. In addition ASF to this date is the only Airsoft organization to work with local high schools within its communities to add ASF as an alternative for Senior Hours (CA), Work Credits (OR), and so on, giving an opportunity for members of a local school to get a free taste of fun while committing to community service with the organization.
