ASF has absolutly no meaning beyond its letters, the name was chosen because it "sounded" and "looked" cool to the founders of the organization.

ASF does not portray anyone. The flag patches on the organizations uniform merley represents what country they are from. If a member is from Canada, he will be allowed to wear a canadian flag on his shoulder. Showing The Diversity of the units within the organization. Under no circumstances do we represent, or re-enact a paticular unit of any countries military.

It really depends on the situation. To become a full member of the organization you must be at least 16 years of age, however an Adult member can sponser (take responsibility) of anyone over the age of 10. At no time is anyone under the age of 16 aloud on the field without thier Adult sponser with them.

No, All you need is motivation to become a member, and motivation for the organization. ASF will provide all of the gear, weapons, ammo needed to be an active soldier with the organization.

Yes, All members must pay membership dues. Dues are a measly $20.00 a month, some homeless people dont mind paying that much. Thats $5.00 a week, That just about .71 Cents a day!

Yes and No, If the weapon is not an M4, M16, M14, M249 (any type) or L96, then the weapon that you bought can only be used during home games. That includes Weekly Games. However during competition, all members must field the weapons issued to them, or the weapons they have bought that are in compliance with the regulations. In addition, despite regulation, you can get a discount on any gun of your choice as a member, even if you cant play with it at competition.

Its Because of uniformity, When ASF steps off the bus at a competition, they dont look like a group of slobs. Everyone is in the proper uniform, same type of gear (with small variations of course) but in essence the fighting force has to look similiar to each other. It helps in teamwork, and tactical prepardness.

Yes, the organization does issue a formal dress uniform. Although its not as formal as you think, Its very similiar to the "Marine Corps Deltas", Tan dress shirt, Tie, Blue Pants, Beret and Dress Shoes, All outfited with ASF patches and Logos.
